Lina & Clara from our team had the unique opportunity to run a joint workshop in Vienna – not only with our client TGW Logistics, but also with their trusted law firm, Baker McKenzie Austria. A true highlight and a format we’d love to see much more often in this level of openness and collaboration.
We still often experience that law firms hesitate when it comes to partnering closely with clients throughout an entire project – including all the challenges, uncertainties, and interim steps that are part of developing innovative solutions.
Rather than navigating the process together, there's a tendency to present only the (supposedly) perfect final result. But true quality emerges when we dare to think, fail, and grow together.
🎩 Hats off to everyone who participated this Tuesday– for the natural confidence and ease with which they stepped into this co-creative space. No hesitation, no posturing – just genuine curiosity, collaboration, and commitment to shaping better legal communication together. That’s what real partnership looks like.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽: To build a mindset that is the essential foundation for reimagining the entire legal ecosystem – spanning processes, services, tools, communication, and culture – creating a unified approach to legal innovation.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲? It means, e.g., shared principles for legal communication that actually work. These 4 Key Principles are a great anchor and road map for every Legal Communication Design Project:
📌 𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗩𝗔𝗡𝗧 – Recipients get what they need.
📌 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗟𝗘 – They can find it quickly and easily.
📌 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗛𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗟𝗘 – They understand it immediately. (Plain language & visual elements are key here!
📌 𝗨𝗦𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘 – They can apply the information right away.
And all of this took place in a workshop environment full of honest exchange, real challenges, shared laughter – and a strong will to shape the future together.
We had a fantastic time in Vienna and are already looking forward to continuing the collaboration. Thank you Martin Reichetseder & Alexander Petsche & your amazing Teams!! 👏
