Lina Keßler, Co-Founder and Managing Director of This is Legal Design, played a leading role in the concept development, methodology, and facilitation of the Co-Creation Workshop of the Integrity Innovation Fund (IIF).
Together with representatives from business, the public sector, and civil society, the workshop focused on a shared goal: making systems of integrity future-ready through new ideas, better structures, and collective action.
The IIF: A Platform for Impact-Oriented Governance Innovation
Initiated by the Alliance for Integrity and funded by GIZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ),the Integrity Innovation Fund is more than a traditional funding mechanism.It serves as a catalyst for human-centered, collaborative, and scalable solutions in the areas of business integrity, anti-corruption, and good governance.
Rather than abstract debate, the focus lies on concrete impact – backed by a clear commitment to systemic change through innovation.
The Workshop: Strategic Participation – Not Symbolism
The workshop aimed to collaboratively define the following elements with key corporate and institutional stakeholders:
Setting priorities: Which current challenges require new approaches?
Shaping governance: What kind of participation model builds trust and drives impact?
Anchoring innovation strategically: Which formats, methods, and structures enable sustainable transformation?
The outcomes will directly inform the first funding phase in 2026 – laying the foundation for a new standard in integrity-driven innovation.
